Boycott Islam

(goods and services)

Say no to the so-called Religion of Peace and its blood-thirsty deity

First and foremost, the most significant thing you can do is stop buying their oil. Get rid of your car or make the switch to a non-mineral oil alternative. Avoid buying goods from Muslim countries. On a local, personal level, do not frequent Muslim-run businesses (they don't really want your custom anyway). Let your wallet do the talking.

Younger Muslims 'more political'

A survey of more than 1,000 Muslims from different age groups suggests young Muslims are more likely to be interested in political forms of Islam.

"Islamist groups have gained influence at local and national level by playing the politics of identity and demanding for Muslims the 'right to be different'."

* 19% of over-55s compared with 37% of 16 to 24-year-olds would prefer to send their children to Islamic state schools

* 17% of over-55s compared with 37% of 16 to 24-year-olds would prefer living under Sharia law than British law

* 28% of over-55s compared with 74% of 16 to 24-year-olds prefer Muslim women to choose to wear the hijab

* 3% of over-55s compared with 13% of 16 to 24-year-olds admire organisations like al-Qaeda that are prepared to fight the West

I wonder what happened to the 25 to 54-year-olds? Makes it difficult to extrapolate these figures and calculate just how 3% of over-55s plus 13% of 16 to 24-year-olds plus an unknown number of 25 to 54-year-olds supporting "organisations like al-Qaeda that are prepared to fight the West" actually relates to our (conservatively estimated) 1.6 million Muslim polution population. Maybe we just don't want to know. Maybe it would make the figures too scary, even for a Guardian reader.

Perhaps we can drop the "small minority of extremists" label now.
