Islamic checkout staff at Sainsbury’s who refuse to sell alcohol are allowed to opt out of handling bottles and cans of drink by calling other staff to take their place.

Al-Qaeda's white army of terror

This concentrates on recruitment in prison but ignores recruitment at universities, where the Arab/Palestinian propaganda machine is particularly strong, effective, and unchallenged - it might even be part of the curriculum. It wouldn't surprise me if a couple of former students I know - having been thoroughly brainwashed - carry out suicide bombings just to "prove terrorism has nothing to do with Muslims".

UN protests after Darfur attack

"The United Nations has lodged a protest with Khartoum after a peacekeeping supply convoy in Darfur was ambushed by what the UN said were Sudanese troops.

A civilian Sudanese driver is in a critical condition after being shot seven times in the attack, the joint UN and African Union force, Unamid, said.

It said its peacekeepers had not fired back and there were no UN casualties.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon condemned the strike "in the strongest terms"."

I would think defending yourself and returning fire, sending the message that the UN are there with a purpose, would be more helpful to the mission. Another couple of attacks should see the UN out of Sudan and let the government and Islamist militia finish their ethnic cleansing. In Britain the ethnic cleansing of natives from large swathes of our cities tends to be largely non-violent; voluntary even.

The UN mission in Lebanon - to defend the re-arming of Hezbollah - may not last much longer either, now that Hezbollah are almost ready to start another war.

Islamic Bloc Scores 'Defamation of Religions' Resolution at UN

"Alongside a resolution adopted by the U.N. General Assembly this week calling for a moratorium on the death penalty, the world body passed a raft of other human rights-related motions. One of them, introduced by Islamic nations, focuses on combating the "defamation of religions."

OIC secretary-general Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu earlier this month addressed an international conference on "Islamophobia," held in Turkey, and told the gathering that freedom of expression was being used as a cover in the West to promote anti-Islam sentiment.

The OIC soon will release its first-ever annual report on "Islamophobia." "

"A woman is seeking clarification from a court on whether her husband’s declaration of divorce by text message is legally valid.

After missing a call from her husband on her mobile phone Iqbal Abul Nasr received a text message from him which read: “I divorce you because you didn’t answer your husband,” it was reported in the state-run daily newspaper al-Akhbar.

In line with Sharia, men do not need to go to court to file for divorce. A unilateral declaration of divorce by a man, repeated three times, formally ends a marriage. It was the third time that Mrs Abul Nasr, an engineer from Cairo, had received such a text message.

If a family court declares the couple divorced, it would be the first reported case of divorce by SMS in Egypt. The practice has been much debated across the Muslim world and some Islamic countries have banned it. According to Egypt’s state-run statistics bureau, a couple files for divorce every six minutes.
